Swedish government to spend Skr62 million to prevent extremism

The Swedish government is investing Skr62 million in a national action plan to fight against extremism.


"I welcome the fact that Sweden had designed a national action plan against violent extremism. The focus will be on prevention," said Birgitta Ohlsson, Democracy Minister, in a statement.
Ohlsson is responsible for the action of the government. The intention is to strengthen democracy and "making society resilient to violent extremism".
