Swedish Green party calls for small businesses to be spared sick pay contribution

The Green Party wants to abolish sick wage costs for businesses with up to ten employees.
In their budgetary motion to be presented this week, they’ll suggests that the ruling parties or the Alliance ruling bloc should take over the cost from small businesses estimated at around Skr3 billion.
A general reduction in employer contributions up to a certain wage bill is also included in the motion as well as a promise of wealth tax not to be introduced again, writes spokesperson for the party, Maria Wetterstrand to the Swedish news paper Svenka Dagbladet's debate page.
