Where the Swedish summer turns to winter as surprise snow fall in Sweden today

Officially this was suppose to be the start of Meteorological summer in Sweden according to the met office but surprise people woke up today to find much of the country covered with snowfall.

This is a blow to the Swedish summer, according to Helen Jackson, a meteorologist at Swedish television.

Meteorological summer means that the daily temperature exceeded 10 degrees five days in a row. But there is snow fall now in Sweden and lit looks like this trend will continue tomorrow according to Swedish TV met weather forecast.

During the day, the falling snow is expected to turn to rain and when it is expected to freeze but there is no danger for either the ice or snow to concentrate on the surface.

Also tomorrow it is expected that some snow, mainly in eastern parts of G�taland will fall but this weekend the spring warmth will be back.
So if you are travelling to Sweden, be warned and carry along warm clothes and some snow protection.
