Swedish mid summer celebration looked like communion for crime and death

Saturday, 25 June 2011
Midsummer celebrations in Sweden were very messy in some places in the country such that about 6 people have been reported dead.

The police report incidents such as drunkenness, fights and assaults were rife around the country, particularly in metropolitan areas, in Dalarna and on land as well as Gothenburg and others. In Stockholm, the police say that, it was messy in the archipelago area.

The worst troublemakers and drunkards were collectively arrested and taken to the capital. At least five to six Swedes have lost their lives during midsummer celebration. One was killed in a road accident, two died in a fire, and two have apparently been murdered.
