In addition to the fatalities, two people were found seriously injured after the drama in which knives were used as weapons, according to reports from the Norwegian newspaper Aftenposten.

A man has been arrested on suspicion of having dealt the fatal knife attack. He was supposed to have been injured slightly during the imbroglio which probably led to the murder in the house's courtyard.

Neighbours of the house, which is located a stone's throw from the stadium, Bislett, told the press that the three identified men appeared pretty polite and do not disturb their neighbours.

Others say that the men's apartments are often the site of wild parties going on late into the night - the parties are seen as a drain on the patience, among other tenants.

During the past month, Oslo police homicide squad has had much to do. Sunday night's deadly drama followed four previous murder cases, in which four men lost their lives. In three cases are the suspected perpetrator in custody, in one of them is about two men suspected of aggravated murder.
