Norwegian secret police unearthed
Saturday, 05 February 2011
A secret Norwegian spy organization called E or 14 'section for special collection,' in the past 10 years have operated on three continents, writes the Norwegian newspaper VG.

The unit was established in mid 1990s and was driven from anonymous offices in Oslo, according to website of the paper VG. The Organization of Norwegian agents must have existed separately from the country's intelligence service in Lutvann until 2006.

Most of the spies must have been employed in other departments of defence, when they were not on intelligence missions. Among them are those who performed for several months, long and risky assignments abroad and included policemen, teachers, carpenters and lawyers who worked underground for the Norwegian government.

The unit is believed to have been set up to provide information that could increase safety for the Norwegian forces who served during the war in Bosnia.
'E-service is still a part of the secret services that we do not have any comments to give about, "said spokesman Christian verli - Defence Staff to the Norwegian news agency NTB.
