Norwegian economy picks up somewhat growth

The Norwegian mainland economy grew slightly less than expected in the first quarter. GDP growth was 0.6 percent compared with the fourth quarter, according to the Norwegian National Statistical Office.
Economists had predicted an increase of 0.7 percent. During the fourth quarter, the growth rate was 0.3 percent.
Including also the extensive oil industry, GDP decreased by 0.4 percent in the first quarter.
