In the mean time…London getting safer as crime fall drastically

Overall crimes in London is falling, the London police – the Metropolitan Police says in a newly released figures on Tuesday.
According to a break down of the crime statistics and murders last year were at the lowest rate since 1978 and gun crime has fallen by more than 10 percent since 2009 - with 352 fewer offences last year than the one before.
House burglaries have dropped nearly 20 percent in the last 10 years with 13,162 fewer offences compared to a decade ago.

But police have admitted there are still areas in need of improvement. Vehicle thefts, kinfe crime, robberies and rapes are all up - with almost 650 more rapes in 2010 that in 2009.
