Finland dished out more Finnish Citizenships

The number of people receiving Finnish citizenship increased last year.
According to figures released by Statistics Finland, 4,350 permanently domiciled foreign citizens were granted Finnish nationality. This is 900 more than in the previous year.

Some 2,600 women and 1,750 men became Finns. About 1,000 were under the age of 15 while some 90 persons were over the age of 90.
