Danish biker gangs established in Thailand but the Danish police is watching

Danish members of biker gangs Hells Angels and Bandidos are reported to have established local branches in Thailand – blamed at the moment mot on the warm climate.

In Thailand they may be able to use launder money from criminal activities in Denmark and as a springboard for drug supplies. Moreover, criminals in Thailand are involved in organized trafficking in women that can be sent to Denmark as prostitutes, reports Danish Daily Politiken.

The gang’s activities in Thailand has now attracted the involvement of the Danish Police to entre into closer co-operation with police authorities in Thailand, according to head of the Danish Police Intelligence, Kim Kliver: "The gang should not think that they can have refuge in Thailand and establish a base for criminal activities into Denmark.”


Kim Kliver adds that that motorcycle gangs, under pressure from the Danish police action, have been seeking were to keep far away.

 “They may need to invest money in other places where they think we can not reach them,” says the Kliver.
