Swedish Match raises the price for snuff also known as Snuss

Swedish match the monopoly in the production of snuff or snuss or chewing tobacco in Sweden announced that it is upping the price for the additive product.

Consumers of snuff from June 13 should therefore be prepared to folk more for a can of snuff. But the price seems to target the Swedish market with an average of 3-4 percent according various media reports. The new prices will apply from 13 June this year.

The snuff prices however will vary from store to store, such it is hard to say exactly how the price will affect consumers but the price increase per can will be in the region of Skr1 and Skr2 dollars. The price variation will also affect the different types of snuss brands
