Every year Skr20 billion is lost in taxes collection particularly in general trade, restaurant industry and other industries where the payment is made by card or cash, according to a report from the Swedish Tax authority.

"Cheating is due mainly to purchases that are not registered into the cash register and thus does not enter the company's accounting stream, "wrote representatives of the Swedish tax authority, the Swedish Trade Association, Entrepreneur Association, Barber Enterprises association and Flower Industry Federation to the Swedish newspaper Svenska Dagbladet.

The caution is that customers should "always ask for a receipt!" from the above sectors when paying for a service of a product.
