Swedish pension fund, AP Fund invested in Greek government bonds worth €308 million which equates to about Skr2.8 billion.
The information was provided by the Swedish daily Svenska Dagsbladet on Monday. This news has raised tension in Sweden because in the event of a Greek default, the risk would be that a chunk of that investment will be lost.

AP Pension Fund would not comment on the Greek government securities remaining in the portfolio or how to structure reasoning in connection with the investment.

The holdings represent 1.3 percent of the fund's total assets. AP Fund also has smaller stakes in several Greek banks that may get in trouble if Greece could descend in economic meltdown  or simply ‘bankruptcy.’
