Sweden employment service opens recruitment office mining jobs

Tuesday, 10 January 2012
Swedish Employment Service has opened a special office in Kiruna, northern Sweden for the recruitment of manpower for the entire Swedish mining industry

This has to do with the expected wave of retirements in the sector as well as the fact that the sector is expanding as demand of metals grow.

At least 5,000 people must be recruited over the next five years, according to a press release from the employment office.
The new mining office will include searching for employees from abroad.
