Stockholm Stock Exchange opens upward

After a negative closing on Wednesday the Stockholm Stock Exchange opened on a positive footing on Thursday. Both the broad stock market indices and large cap index has risen almost 2 percent.

It should be recalled that yesterday, the market open in similar fashion and ended up dying down at the close at -2.3 percent.  The Stockholm Stock Exchange is now nearly 2 percent on Thursday morning.
The market’s broad index is up 1.66 percent and the large cap index rose 1.64 percent.

Best on the Stockholm Stock Exchange is healthcare research company Active Biotech, which after its report, its stocks rose 15.8 percent. Shares have fallen nearly 80 percent so far this year.

The sector that is performing best on the Stockholm Stock Exchange in the initial trade is the energy sector, which rose 2.52 percent. Oil prices have risen 1.8 percent and Brent oil now costs $107.27 a barrel.

At 9.30 the Danish C20 was trading at a positive 0.9 percent.
