Stena Renewable invests in Wind Power worth Skr1.2 billion

Wind power company Stena Renewable has signed an agreement to purchase 40 turbines from General Electric.
The turbines are to further the projects already on the ground in the areas of Lahore, Boxholm Mj�lby municipalities in Sweden.

The goal is that the turbines will be operational by the end of the year until mid-2012.
The focus on the four wind farms is an investment of over Skr1.2 billion and production is equivalent to the consumption of household electricity of about 50,000 homes, the company said in a statement.
