Increased flights activities on Swedish air space as travel increase by ten percent

Flights in Swedish airspace increased by ten percent in the first half of 2011 compared to same period last year, according to statistics from the LFV.

The reports also reflect a growing trend with increased growth is mainly of foreign flights.
Analysts expect continued traffic growth, mainly boosted by traffic to and from Europe. Growth is expected even among long-haul routes. The number of airspace movements totalled 346,000 during the period.
For the month of June there was an increase of 4 percent.
