Not long ago a Swedish politician said that he prefers to live in New York than in Stockholm and that Stockholm is boring. But it is not sure relate to the fact that in New York people earn lower that in Stockholm Sweden.
After all it is said that money does not bring happiness – not for me, for m money is happiness.
AdvertisementWell, back from the digress, a new report suggest that residents or professionals in Stockholm, the Swedish capital earn more money than their counterparts in the New York, USA, Paris France and even Londoners, according to a new study by the US based organisation, Brookings Institution.
Stockholm actually is the is the eighth place in the world with a mean salary of Skr415,000 per year. Top of the list is Hartford, the USA, where residents earn the equivalent of SEK 506 000 per year on average. Oslo came some distance in the back seat.
Bottom of the list is Cairo in Egypt with a mean salary of Skr13,500 per year, according to the Brookings Institution who has produced the list of cities with the highest and lowest earnings per capita.
