Demonstrations across sweden against Carl Bildt

Sunday, 15 January 2012
On Saturday, there were several demonstrations against Swedish Foreign Minister, Carl Bildt.
The demonstrators were protesting, among other things against Bildt's conduct in relation to the case of the imprisoned journalists in Ethiopia and that he need not take any responsibility in the company, Lundin Petroleum.

In Stockholm, about 250 people gathered at Sergel Square. In Gothenburg, there were over 100 people to the Gustaf Adolf square. Demonstrations were planned in particular in Malmö.
The Swedish foreign minister is reported to have shown lacklustre attitude to the Swedes jailed in Ethiopia given that they went there to investigate the work of Lundin petroleum which the minister used to seat as a board member.
