Newly established Swedish pharmacy Chain, Medstop, feels the market chill and to cut staff
Wednesday, 23 November 2011
Newly established pharmacy chain, Medstop plans to shrink its workforce by about 70 people.
Medstop was one of the several new players who stepped into the pharmacy market since it was deregulated in January last year

The chain currently operates 64 pharmacies in the country. According to CEO Fredrik Söderberg, there has been an over-establishment of pharmacies. Therefore, one is forced to now adjust to lower sales volumes, reports newspaper, Göteborgs-Posten.
