Wind Power Company, Vestas shares collapses after profit warning

The share of the Danish wind power company Vestas plummeted by 20 percent on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange on Wednesday after the company, yesterday warned of profit pressures.


After the close of trading on Tuesday, Vestas warned that it expects profit in relation to turnover for the full year 2011 to remains at €6 billion, compared with an earlier forecast of €6.4 billion. The profit margin was thus lowered from about 4 percent to zero.
