Volvocars continues impressive sales performance in a weak Europe

In uncertain times, normally there are reduced car sales. The only Swedish car manufacture of substance now, Volvocar Corp., has been looking at its performance in the continent and its not that too bad.


In November, 3 percent fewer cars were sold in the EU and EFTA countries compared to November 2010, according to industry association ACEA’s latest numbers published today.

Sales so far this year stands at -1.1 percent, compared with the corresponding period last year. Of the major markets, only Germany showed an increase 9.1 until November.

For the Swedish car producer, Volvo, it is gaining ground in a weak market. sales rose by 21.9 percent in November and 13.8 percent so far this year.
