Volvocar corp wants to hire 10,000

Volvo Cars wants to hire more than 10,000 people to achieve its business objectives in which by 2020, it would reach its target of selling 800,000 cars a year.

“Until then, we must increase our staff strength to between 33,000 and 35,000 employees,” says Volvo Cars Corp CEO  Stefan Jacoby to Automotivenews.com.

Today, close to 24,000 people work for Volvo Cars. Around 16,000 of them work in Sweden.
Hiring will take place mainly in China, where Volvo Cars plans to open a new plant within two years.
