Volvo is planning a multi billion Kronor construction project in Daqing

Volvo Cars China plans to roll on in China. The company's second factory in the country in the oil town of Daqing is planned to be finished 2013.

Volvo is expected to invest the equivalent of Skr4.5 billion in plant construction, according to a written notice on the Chinese Environmental Protection Department's website and reported by various Swedish news sources.

The factory is planned for the production of several models, including the Volvo XC60. Initially, the capacity is pegged at 80,000 cars per year.
