Volvo hopes for rapid growth in China

The Chinese market is expected to become a leading world market as China juggles for position and creeps to over take the USA. Among the companies hopping to be leaders in that market in is Volvo Group's three main markets products.

Within three to five years, according to a highly placed person in the company, Volvo wants to stamp its feet in the market.
Right now, looking back, four years ago, China contributed only 1 percent of its revenue from China, but in 2009 that has rose to 7 percent in 2009. This has made China the third most important source of revenue, for the company according to sources.


Sources also point to L´┐Żnsi Jiang, vice chairman of Volvo China Investment who said that she now hopes to increase truck sales in China in the coming years.

Volvo group produces for the mass market trucks, Buses and excavating tools and such machineries.
