Vattenfall plans to build wind power to expand on it Green renewable credentials

Vattenfall is investigating the possibility of building a wind farm in Grönhulton along the border between Småland and Västergötland.

The area lies within the Tranemo and Gislaved municipalities. Grönhulton will be able to produce electricity for up to 15,000 households, writes Waterfall.

The investment is Skr500 million. Vattenfall is this year building its largest onshore wind farm to date. It is built in the Netherlands and is estimated to cost Skr1.4 billion and is expected to produce electricity for 88,000 Dutch households.

Vattenfall expects to invest Skr26 billion in wind power between 2011 and 2015, according to a press release.
