Troubled Danish railway company,  DSB First running the resund train in Sweden is laying off 65 employees as the crisis in the company deepens.
All this is as a result of the company's financial problems which have been around for a few months as we have analysed here.
"It's hard to have to give this information, but it is necessary to ensure a positive development," said Andrew Nordahl, Director of resundstrafiken, DSB First in a statement.

Those affected by the redundancies are mainly train drivers, but also train conductors. Negotiations with unions have begun.
