The struggling Danish banking sector continues to show signs of stress

The Danish banking sector which is really struggling is still in the ditch seeking a way up rather continuing digging. But it does not look like the later is happening.
This is because Danish Sydbank reported a profit before tax of Dkr95 million for the fourth quarter instead of the expected pre-tax profit of Dkr255 million, according to various analysts consensuses.
With these poor results, the board proposes no dividend for 2011 ainst an expectation of a dividend of Dkr0.94.
