Chinese company that wants to buy Saab automobile, Youngman is reported to have placed a strong new bid to take over Saab automobile which is currently under bankruptcy management.
Despite the refusal of GM o let go of some of its key technology imbedded in the some of the Saab models, the Chinese still feels that there is enough value in the brand and are ready to fight for it.
Reports hold that already a week ago, Youngman placed a bid in the Saab automobile’s bankrupt estate, according to the founder and owner of Youngman Corporation Pang Qingnian in an interview with Swedish newspaper Svenska Dagbladet in China.
He claims to be prepared to spend Skr12 billion on developing new Saab models. And he promises that the cars will still be manufactured in Trollhättan in Sweden for at least five years.
"It is a prerequisite, "he told Svenska Dagbladet and aims, among other things, that rich Chinese people prefer to buy cars manufactured in the West. But he also argues that Saab is not only technology and brand.
"We do not have the capacity here to develop the cars. And I would like to retain many of the old lines. "
