The Turks are coming to Trollhattan
Wednesday, 28 December 2011
A group of Turkish stakeholders are expected soon to Trollhättan to look at what can be bought from bankrupt Saab Automobile.
According to Swedish business daily, Dagens Industry, the Turkish delegation will meet with the administrator taking charge with the bankruptcy procedure, Ann-Marie Pouteaux of the law firm Wistrand and Victor Muller, Saab's CEO.

It is uncertain if the Turkish stakeholders are looking to restart car production or buying out part of the business and move it to Turkey, writes the paper.

Among the assets that might be interesting for automakers is Phoenix Platform, a not fully developed base platform that can be used to produce a number of different car models.
