Swedish companies loosing grip in the South East Asia region

A new survey by the Swedish Trade Council shows that Swedish companies are losing market share in Asia.
At Swedish Trade Council, there is a growing concern about such development, says Asia Director Frederick Fexe to Swedish business daily, Dagens Industri.

According to the Trade Council it is not that Swedish companies are presenting themselves poorly in Asia but it is that other companies are going even better.

Some 105 Swedish export companies with subsidiaries operating in at least three Asian markets were included in the study. Exports operations there have been compared to the U.S., Germany and France.
The Asian market is an growing destination for many companies as the region gradually transform from a production centre for western market to a growing consumer hob.
