Swedish city has some of the most expensive hotels

Hotel Prices in Gothenburg has increased by eight percent in one year and is now the highest in Sweden, confirming the argument that Sweden has some of the priciest hotel rates

According to price statistics from the hotel booking site, a hotel night in Gothenburg costs an average of Skr1183 compared to Skr 1161 in the capital, Stockholm.

In the whole of Sweden, hotel rates have risen by two percent to an average to Skr1077.

Meanwhile, hotel prices have fallen in the indebted euro zone countries, the earthquake hit Japan and Thailand.
