The Russian financier Vladimir Antonov met Maud Olofsson and set out why he wants to put money into Saab automobile.
The meeting took place on Tuesday evening at the ministry department, five days after the government received his letter.
“It was a good meeting. Always good to see people that are so circumscribed, "said Olofsson.
But the rush is not on the government's decision.
“We are waiting for GM and the EIB, "said Olofsson.

Only a few days before Antonov requested a meeting with the Minister accused his Swedish spokesperson Lars Carlstrom government for having a hidden agenda, and that Saab want to be destroyed.
According to reports, this was something that Olofsson picked up during the hour-long meeting with Antonov.

“I described that it is better that those in charge said something and not others. It is important that those who speak know what they're talking about. It is difficult to argue that the government has been inactive in the automotive industry, "she said. But Olofsson would not go into response as to what she told Antonov.

Maud Olofsson can not stress enough that there was an information session. Not a meeting to take a stand for or against the Antonov.
“He wanted to talk about their thoughts on the Saab and Saab's future and why he is eager to step in and invest his money, "said Olofsson.
He was however impressed that he was a strong businessman with entrepreneurial insights.
