Sweden leads in high corporate taxes

Corporate tax rate is considerably higher in Sweden than in many countries. This year the tax rate of 26.3 percent in Sweden compared with an average of 22.96 percent in the world, according to a survey by KPMG.
According to the accounting firm, however, several countries in Europe have started to raise their corporate tax, and other regions of the world are expected to follow.

"If the entire world economy is at the same time to see growth it is vital that there is continued lower corporate taxes," wrote KPMG.
