Smaller companies in Sweden are having it hard to get a loan
Monday, 09 January 2012
Lending to small and medium-sized businesses had decreased at an increasing rate, and an explanation is that banks have become more restrictive in their lending to them, according to state own small business lender,  ALMI Business Partners in a survey.

Of the 150 branch managers interviewed in December, 23 percent reported that lending had declined, compared with 18 percent in September, and seven percent in June. Nearly half expect further decline in 2012.

Sweden is not a very good friend of smaller companies in the first place and the idea that lending to them is falling is not something new. The growing rejection in providing required finds to smaller companies is a matter of wait and see especially as the big so called international ne are still navigating the gloomy risky market out there.
