Securitas to provide security services to Canadian airports

Security Company, Securitas has received an order worth Skr3.1 billion. The contract extends to over 5.5 years starting from 1 November 2011.


The order is for security services to 32 airports in Canada, where it has been selected by the Canadian Air Transport Security Authority (CATS) to provide security for the screening of passengers and baggage.

The 32 airports are located in the eastern region of Canada, which includes airports in the Canadian provinces of Quebec, New Brunswick, Nova Scotia, Prince Edward Island, Newfoundland and Labrador.

The contract, which is the largest of Securitas, includes an option to extend it by up to five additional years.
