Scania launches operations in Japan

Truck manufacturer Scania has created a sales and service companies in Japan, according to a press release.
Scania will initially focus on increasing sales in Japan of vehicles including the heaviest truck segment.


"In the short term there is the greatest potential for sales of special vehicles, such as tractor units for heavy road transport. The domestic manufacturers' supply of such vehicles is limited," says Scania Japan's CEO Sol Bong Chai.
