Sales increases for Clas Ohlson

Clas Ohlson's total sales rose by 6 percent in December. In local currencies, sales increased by 5 percent.

According to the forecast summary from analysts, it was expected that sales will increase by 8.5 percent and an increase in sales in local currencies to 8.2 percent.

Compared with the same month last year, 16 stores were added and the total number of stores as of last December rose to 152 pieces.

In Sweden, sales were unchanged, while Norway showed an increase of 10 percent and Finland, an increase of 18 percent. UK sales rose 3 percent to Skr 43 million whereas in the past it stood at Skr42 million.

In local currencies, sales in Norway were up by 8 percent, Finland, up 19 percent and in Britain the increase was 3 percent.
Distance sales amounted to SEK 14 million against Skr 12million in similar the past months last year.
