The Swedish worker’s union, IF Metall branch based in Saab factory in Tr´┐Żllhattan near Gothenburg wants to wait until tomorrow before it can push Saab automobile into bankruptcy.

According to radio Sweden, they have called off their attempted pursue today and will regroup and press for it tomorrow if the company can’t pay its workers.

Saab has not been able to pay worker wages for the month of August, though they have been doing nothing given that operations in the factory had not moved a muscle for months now.

Payment problems mean that IF Metall last Saturday had the right to take Saab to bankruptcy tribunal. Towards the end of this week, the other unions at Saab will also have the right to ask the company into bankruptcy.

Earlier it was speculated that the unions will submit a joint request. It is still rumoured that a new bailout plan in on the way. But many people don’t believe Saab until it is really there. It  is also speculated that the Chinese speaks both financing and a big loan from Germany.

According to unconfirmed information, the money for the August month's wages has already been flowed into the Saab account yesterday. Saab Automobile would not comment on the actual information. At the company's communications department, they say that they are prepared for everything this week.
