Saab automobile is to be sold as a whole unit as growing bid for the company continues

Reports hold that a new bid for Saab automobile has come in as the administrators continue to seek to sell the company as a whole unit.
According to reports, the bankruptcy managers' goal is still to sell Saab Automobile as a whole, unit therefore, an indication of a new interest for the company been made.
Last week there were reports that the administrators wanted to break up Saab and sell in separate parts as the former owner General Motors persistently refused to allow another buyer to buy the automaker claiming to protect its rights and technological secrets.
Now, the conflicting information has let all to remain confused as to what direction the resolution of the company will take. But according to sources, the current focus in the sector is still to sell Saab as a whole.
"We have already received notice from the administrators that they are working to sell Saab as a whole unit. The statements have not been changed and I assume that they are still as applied, "says Fredrik Sidahl, president of Automotive Suppliers, FKG, to Swedish business daily, Dagens Industri.
"The administrator will sell to whomever they want. It is the buyers' problems to start the car production and getting the business rolling, "said added.
Chinese Young's bid is around Skr3 billion and the plan is to hire up to 1,000 people, according to sources. On Sunday it was reported that a new European stakeholders have submitted a competing bid for Saab.
