The future of Saab Automobile is anything but safe. But in the midst of the crisis, the workers union, IF Metall successfully negotiated their members' salaries by Skr500.

“This has of course felt a little weird, but it's also a process that must continue. Now it feels good to finished with this. Then we will not have to have it hanging over us,” says Hkan Sktt, spokesperson for IF Metall, to television channel, TV 4.

The new salaries will be effective from 1 June 2011 and the first time that the payment will be is in October - if the crisis resolves anyway.
