Scandinavian airliner, SAS has officially been confirmed that its finances are under stress because its credit rating has been downgraded and it has been placed at negative from stable.
That is the position taken by the U.S. credit rating organisation, Standard & Poor's from reports Reuters news agency.
Low economic growth, continued high fuel prices and increased competition among others are likely push the cash flow and profitability, according to S & P.
Lower credit rating usually means lower lending standards.
