Russian billionare, Antonov standing with money in hand while his interest Saab goes bankrupt

The Russian billionaire financier, and investors, Vladimir Antonov is still ready to go in as the owner of Saab. "If we are approved today the money will be here in the morning," said Antonov’s Swedish representative.

Already yesterday, Monday declared Saab's CEO, Victor Muller, of Vladimir Antonov interest still to come in as a financier in the Dutch Saab's parent company, Swedish Automobile.


But he is still waiting for the European Investment Bank and the GM to approve is suitability. As for the Swedish Debt Office, he had been given the green light.

“As soon as a go-ahead has been given, Mr. Antonov can provide Saab Automobile and Swedish Automobile with so much capital that is needed,” said Victor Muller in a statement on Monday.

Vladimir Antonov’s Swedish representative, Lars Carlstrom, confirming what Victor Muller said to Swedish news paper Svenska Dagsbladet that:
“Vladimir Antonov is in the game very much.”  He add that he received indications that GM is in favour of Antonov.

“We hope that the Swedish government takes a serious effort and speak out with GM so that we will continue from this lengthy decision-making. If we are approved today the money will be here in the morning,” says Lars Carlstrom to SvD.
