Vladimir Antonov will know about the EIB's decision not to allow him as a partner of Saab in a few weeks according to his Swedish spokesman, Lars Carlstrom.

Speaking to Swedish television news network channel TV 4 news, he said that “We have intensified efforts to find alternative financing and have let this process be approval by the EIB and the Swedish government. But it is completely useless. We have no hope of that anymore, absolutely not.”

The strategy is now to make it possible that any time within a few weeks to resolve Saab loans issue with the EIB. Then Antonov become shareholders.

“I'm talking about commercial banks to partially finance the EIB loan. There are several banks involved and the issue here is to solve the Skr2 billion that the EIB loan is about. We must get rid of the political management of Saab, otherwise this will never go anywhere”, says Lars Carlstrom told TV4.
