The Russian financier Vladimir Antonov wants Saab to cut ties with the European Investment Bank (EIB).
Therefore, ongoing exploratory talks with "a couple of Europe's commercial banks" that can take over the EIB loan of  just over Skr2 billion is on the way, according to Antonov’s Swedish spokesman Lars Carlstrom to the Swedish daily Dagens Nyheter.

"The EIB has not in any way facilitated the process to release Antonov as part owner of the company. Then we must find other ways, "he said to the paper.
