Payout to Nokia after Dispute settlement worth Skr550 million
Tuesday, 27 December 2011
Japanese Seiko Epson will pay $80 million, approximately Skr550 million, to the Finnish mobile manufacturer, Nokia in a bid to resolve a dispute concerning the prices of LCD electronics.

Nokia sued Seiko Epson 2009 in the UK and the U.S. for conspiracy for electronics parts, which led to excessive prices.

In a statement, Seiko Epson said that they now want to close the case rather than engage in a protracted legal battle.
