Nokia's technology director Rich Green leaves Nokia for an indefinite period, writes the Finnish newspaper Helsingin Sanomat. Nokia confirms the news, but says nothing about how long Green will be gone.

Anonymous sources at Nokia said on the newspaper that Green had disagreements with management on strategic decisions, including the decision to abandon plans to launch phones with the operating system Meego in favour of Microsoft's Windows systems
According to paper, it is likely that Green will come back to Nokia at all.

Rich Green came to Nokia for just a year ago from Sun Microsystems, where he was head of technology.
