Finnish Nokia no longer on top FT 100 companies. Previously weaker opponent have zoomed passed Nokia

Nokia's position in the Financial Times list of big companies have fallen dramatically over the past year.
The recent list of the 500 largest companies, in terms of market value, has seen Nokia now being placed at number 271 place, a big fall from last year where the company was placed on at number 102 positions.


Oil giant Exxon Mobil topped the list or this year, China PetroChina is the second and third place is electronics giant Apple. Norwegian Statoil is the largest Nordic company on the FT's list.
Hennes & Mauritz, Nordea, Ericsson, TeliaSonera and Volvo have all wedged past the Nokia. Others are Finnish companies are Fortum on FT's list. Nokia's market value at the end of March was just over 32 billion dollars.
