Mobile phone giant Nokia has begun searching for a new President who will take over at the next annual meeting, said the current chairman Jorma Ollila on Tuesday.

Nokia Annual General Meeting opened this afternoon in Helsinki and Nokia's Chairman and former CEO, Jorma Ollila, said “my search for a new chairman has already begun”. And that
he would not want to stand for re-election. "It's been a tough year and I think next year also will be tough," he told shareholders.

Ollila also said that Nokia's strategies in previous years have been right but that there were gaps in achievement and in the details.
He acknowledged that Nokia was hit by too much sense of convenience in 2007 and 2008, when the company made record profits.
