A Japanese-Chinese consortium is now involved in the battle to buy bankrupt Saab automobile factory in Sweden according to reports.

The consortium would like to start producing electric cars, batteries and other components in the Saab brand, according to several sources  reports the Swedish business daily Dagens Industri.

According to the information, there have been negotiations with the administrators reported to be looking positive.
"It has been out and has met a lot of players around the Saab establishment and there is a strong indication in the bidding," says a source.
